Swapzee Refund Policy

1. Introduction

At Swapzee, we strive to ensure that all transactions meet the highest standards of accuracy and quality. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be issued and the associated fees for inadequate item listings.

2. Eligibility for Refunds

A refund may be granted if the item received:

  • Does not match the description or picture provided in the listing.
  • Is damaged beyond what was disclosed in the listing.
  • Is defective or materially different from what was promised.
  • Receives a poor review and the item is vetted by the Swapzee QA team and agreed that the above points are valid
3. Refund Process

If a recipient receives an item that does not match the description or picture:

  • 1. They must report the issue within 24 hours of receiving the item by contacting our customer support team.
  • 2. The recipient must provide clear photographic evidence of the issue.
  • 3. If the claim is validated, Swapzee will:
  • Refund the recipient the full shipping fee paid.

    Hold the sender responsible for the return shipping costs.

    Charge the sender a $15 administrative fee for failing to meet listing accuracy standards.

4. How Refunds Are Issued
  • Refunds will be processed back to the original payment method within 5-10 business days after approval.
  • If applicable, the refund amount will be the shipping fee minus any deductions for the sender's non-compliance.
5. Responsibilities of the Sender
  • The sender must ensure that all items are accurately described and photographed.
  • If an item is deemed inadequate or misrepresented, the sender will be responsible for both the return shipping cost and the $15 admin fee.
  • Failure to comply may result in account suspension or restricted access to Swapzee’s services.
6. Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds will not be granted if:

  • The recipient fails to report an issue within 48 hours of receiving the item.
  • The issue is due to buyer’s remorse rather than a misrepresentation of the item.
  • The item was damaged due to improper handling by the recipient.
7. Amendments to This Policy

Swapzee reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time. Any changes will be communicated through our official channels.
